VantageScore Takes Austin by Storm at Texas MBA Annual Convention

This week, Team VantageScore made its way to Austin, Texas, for the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association’s 110th Annual Convention, one of the state’s most influential gatherings of mortgage banking professionals. Nearly 500 industry leaders networked and engaged throughout the event, including executives from top lenders such as PennyMac, RocketMortgage, Xactus, Chase, and more.

During the convention, Tony Hutchinson, Head of Public Affairs, took the stage to highlight VantageScore’s growing momentum following its recent implementation by the FHFA. His session focused on the benefits of increased competition in credit scoring. It also emphasized VantageScore 4.0’s predictive performance, positioning it as an effective way to expand access to homeownership while helping lenders manage risk.

After this historic decision, sharing accurate information about VantageScore to key industry leaders is more essential than ever. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to connect directly with mortgage lenders, service providers, and important stakeholders who are actively shaping the housing market in Texas and beyond.
